FULL / PART-TIME ASSOCIATE HEALTHCARE PRACTITIONERS
A very busy, established private Podiatry clinic in Glasgow (Southside) invites Associate Professionals, including from the following disciplines, to offer services which complement our current treatment offerings and help us to build a strong, multi-disciplinary team:
Clinic space is available 7 days a week, daytime and evenings, and will be provided on a flexible fee-sharing or block-rental basis, with all overheads inc. receptionist cover included.
Glasgow Foot Clinic has been providing exemplary patient care for almost 10 years in the heart of busy Shawlands. As well as an extremely high-volume of regular clients which has grown almost entirely through word-of-mouth recommendation, we still welcome new patients to the clinic daily, and the Practice continues to grow at a rapid rate thanks to an increased online presence. In order to accommodate this increased demand we have just relocated to our new clinic at 3 Abbot Street, Glasgow G41 3XE – a super location with excellent visibility (next to Co-Op & Café Strangebrew, Pollokshaws Road), great access to public transport routes and with parking right outside.
We currently have 3 Podiatrists in the clinic with full caseloads. Additionally, we have seen increased demand for ancillary, complementary treatments, and we have created a self-contained treatment room within the new clinic to accommodate these. Our already high footfall in the clinic, opportunities for cross-referral between practitioners, and high, 7 days a week footfall in the immediate locale will benefit anyone joining our team.
Shawlands/Glasgow Southside has a very high-density population of very mixed demographic, and the clinic attracts patients of all ages and backgrounds. The clinic’s immediate vicinity has seen a growth of incoming businesses, including hugely popular eating spots which have increased the weekend daytime footfall particularly, and the recently approved status of Shawlands as a Business Improvement District (see www.myshawlands.com), and the new Civic Square under development just metres from us, put us right in the middle of a thriving, busy community with lots going on.
Applicants must ideally have a minimum of 2 years post-grad experience, and Private Practice experience is highly desirable for this role.
You will be part of a small, supportive team, so reliability, dependability and considerate teamworking is essential to the success of all practitioners.
A large majority of our patients have been with us for several years, and are used to being treated with respect, patience and courtesy. Our ethos is to go the extra mile for our patients, and we require like-minded individuals who will be flexible and put client care first.
You should be mature, calm, tolerant, and comfortable working and interacting with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
